Not gonna lie…I didn’t agree till recently, but it would be ridiculous to have to send Fox back down. It shouldn’t be hard for him to match Sori or Milt in the field.

Dude…it must be 100% homerism to expect Seattle will finish ahead of anyone.
I don’t see anybody running away with it (see shaky pitching mentioned above). 88-90 wins could take the division and I see 3 teams capable of that.

1. When their rotation gets healthy
If you had named one started who the Angels need to get back in order to “run away with the division, I would agree with you. But you named THREE starting pitchers. There are too many things that can go wrong with a pitcher in recovery. Multiply that by three and SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG. The Angels may win the West, but they will NOT be running away with it. You may quote me, sir. OH! And I’m going to give you a huge “Yawn” for, “The addition of Bobby Abreu only solidifies their hold on the AL West.” Yeah, right.

2. I think you’re underestimating Holliday. Especially with the pitching in this division.

3. The Rangers will finish at least second in the division. Don’t quote me on that one, though.

Wow. Cutler, Marino and Jeff George in the same sentence. If Cutler turns out to be anything near Dan Marino, the Bears definitely get the edge here. You definitely want your QB to be a leader and not a cry-baby. I hope (probably in vain) that Lovie can show him some tough love and help him remove his head from his ass. Brian Urlacher might help with that too.

If Denver fares better with their first round picks than they traditionally have, then I definitely think they got the better side of the deal. I think there’s room for talented jerks on your team, but not at the QB position. I’ll take a great leader with mediocre talent any day.
Cutler has behaved like a heel since he arrived in Denver, and I doubt that will change with a change of scenery. It remains to be seen if he becomes Dan Marino or Jeff George, but it seems inevitable that they’ll all end up with the same number of championship rings. Million dollar arms, two cent souls.
How’s that for bitter? GO BRONCOS!!!

They didn’t have any talent in 2006. They pulled the World Series out of their ass. I would be surprised if they have a winning record this year.

I think the Cards will surprise you, like they do every year. It seems like they have no talent, but they put it together. 2006 was a prime example of this.

i think the D lee will get at leats 25 homers and that soriano will get like 35+ and kosuke will get at least 10+ homers on his own

Great breakdown. I love this team…SOLID offensive numbers from 1 to 8 with very little ego.

I’m still baffled by the disappearing act the O has pulled in the last two post seasons, but a left-handed bat and another year of maturity for Geo can’t hurt.
