Steve....Common, are you really that ignorant? You can't close-line the opposing team's second baseman because their pitcher threw at you. What sense does that make? Baseball is a competitive sport, and sometimes guys let their aggression get the best of them, but attacking Mike Fontenot, who had nothing to do with the "bean-ball war" I might add, is uncalled for. Go at Lilly or even Soriano again, but leave the guys alone that leave your guys alone. PERIOD.

Just stumbled opun this dumb blog entry on a hunt for a good Tim Hudson pic for a sig. Just wanted to say .. THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL! It's part of the game, kiddo. When pitchers throw at batters, they get pissed. I remember that game, and it was obvious whatever bush league esque pitcher the Cubs had on the mound that day was retaliating for Edgar's homer. You guys weren't finished whining over the Bravos beating down Zambrano and making Barrett look like a fool, so yeah, it was deliberate. Renteria is a hard nosed player (I already miss him) and he was just saying "Throw at a real ballplayer and there will be consequences, little man."
