Tony La Russa is a good guy. Even good guys do stupid stuff. At least he fell asleep at an intersection and with his foot on the brake, so no one got hurt.

I certainly wouldn’t want to characterize driving drunk as acceptable in the least. I’m glad that no one was hurt in this case. I also shudder to think that we won’t be prosecuted to the full extent of the law due to his celebrity. I really hope that doesn’t happen.
