Ben. I hope so too. I wonder if the Cubs will ever be bonafide contenders if the Tribune still owns them? Either way, it will be a great day for all Cubs fans when they win the series. Hopefully sometime soon.

Being a life-long Cubbies fan, I feel right along with you about Maddux. It's a shame. I just hope that I'll see 'em win a World Series before I die.

Yo Ken whats going on? I had no idea you had a site like this, I will definitely have to check it out from now on. The trade that I love is the Todd Walker trade. Obviously there was no reason to keep him on the team and the guy we got back for him is some 6' 4" 240 lb Dominican beast who can hit 99 on the gun. He just pitched two shutout innings for rookie ball two with four strikeouts, hopefully we got a D-Train like steal on this one. The interesting trade that I questioned was the Dodgers trading for Julio Lugo. I really like Lugo and would have loved for the Cubs to trade for him but why would the Dodgers trade for a shortstop when they just signed Furcal? And I know Kent is hurt but I thought he was coming back soon. Weird. As far as the Rangers, I don't think they liked Cordero at all anymore and they did trade Soriano away so it looked like they were just gaining his power back and giving away guys they didnt really need. Plus they got back one of the Brewers top OF prospects so I thought it was a solid trade. Anyways, I gotta go, Z's on the mound but sweet site. Talk to you later.
