If we could have paper teams play each other, I bet the Cubs would have had a few championships under their belts (as would the Bears, Hawks.....etc) SO , that leaves it up to Dusty and his posse to get these guys to play to their paper potential and win some games. He's incapabale of doing so. Either these guys have quit on him (though you don't hear about any grumbling) or they don't have the fire in the belly that a GOOD manager and coaches should be able to light up. I think the players are TOO comfortable with Dusty and need a good ass-kicking. That said, there is no use in firing him now unless you want to give the new guy some time with a bunch of players who won't be there (or shouldn't be there next year). I believe that they are irrepairably damaged for this year and will have 100 losses. I'll hang up and wait for my answer. Ok, ON PAPER they look fine.
