NFL Divisional Playoffs - Recap

What an interesting weekend of football. Some things that stuck out to me.

1. Muhsin Muhammad makes a lot of money for a guy who drops a lot of balls, in a lot of games.
2. I’m a huge Peyton Manning fan. But when is it time to be resigned to the fact that he just can’t win the big game? It certainly wasn’t all his fault… but c’mon.
3. Not sure which offense is worse the Bears or the Redskins… but I guess it doesn’t matter at this point.
4. 5 turnover = 24 points. The “always steady” Patriots fell apart. It’s about time.
5. Mike Vanderjagt. Idiot Kicker.
6. I think Steve Smith just scored another uncontested touchdown.

    1. Steve Smith doesn’t make that much money for someone who catches lots of balls and scores lots of TD’s.
    2. When do we start talking about Jake Delhomme as one of the best postseason quarterbacks of all time, and stop talking about Manning as the best without any significant wins?
    3. At least Grossman can throw the ball…Bears with Orton equal too the Redskins with Brunnel
    4. Patriots….serioussly, what the hell happened?
    5. Vanderjagt…total idiot…especially considering his pregame comments about the importance of kickers.
    6. I think Mushin just dropped another ball.

    1). Seattle Seahawks. To play that well without Shaun Alexander, Mr. MVP. That was a great performance against one of the top defenses in the league.

    2) It is about time that the Great Tom Brady got his ass handed to him. Yes he has won 3 Super Bowls, but how the hell do you throw that pass to Champ Bailey. That (along with the other 4 turnovers) blew this game wide open.

    3) Open question to anyone. Who was the last Bear quarterback to throw more than 41 passes in a playoff game? Tough one huh. Thats because we are supposed to run the god damn ball. Cant wait til next year, when the battle of Rex and Kyle for the starting QB job is front page news.

    4) Does Mushin Muhammad have any RAC yards. I swear, every time he makes a catch he is falling or diving or running out of bounds. Seriously Mushin, turn it up-field every once in a while.

    5) Someone should tell Mike Vanderjagt that he is just a fucking kicker. He is not a real football player. I agree- Fucking Idiot.
